Deeply beloved Newman community, I feel overwhelmingly blessed to be joining the staff here. I’ve been part of Newman for the past three years, and I was a student minister for the past two. I just graduated from UCSD with a B.S. in Human Development. I’ve lived in San Diego since 2009, but I’m originally from Puerto Rico. I'm looking forward to serving you in this new way. Despite the negative way many view evangelization, the Catechism tells us, “The disciple of Christ must not only keep the faith and live it, but also profess it, confidently bear witness to it, and spread it” (Catholic Church 1816).
