Jennifer Singelyn, Secretary

Hello, I am Jennifer Singelyn, your new Pastoral Council secretary and YAG representative. I have been a member of the Newman Center Catholic Community for about one year. I first got involved as a minister of the word. I find reading God's word to the community to be very humbling, and a great way to serve. This year I decided to get even further involved by joining the Pastoral Council.

I grew up in New Jersey and am out here in San Diego for graduate school. I am working towards my PhD in Bioengineering at UCSD. My undergraduate degree is in Materials Science from Carnegie Mellon University. When I have free time from research, I enjoy being at the beach, or outdoors, hiking and camping.

I look forward to meeting each of you and sharing your needs and concerns with the Pastoral Council.
