Hi, my name is Stephanie, and I am one of your Young Adult and Graduate student (YAG) representatives on the pastoral council. I have been a member of the Newman community for over three years, and I am thrilled to now help serve the community while on the council!

I grew up in the Pacific Northwest and went to the University of Washington for my undergraduate in computational bioengineering. After graduating, I did a year of volunteer work (teaching computer classes) with Jesuit Volunteer Corps in Chicago. In 2006, I started graduate school (Biomedical Sciences, focus in human genetics) at UCSD. I enjoy living on the west coast, drinking a hot cup of coffee in the morning, and reading a great thought-provoking book.
