Hi everyone! I offer my sincerest thanks to you for stopping by and reading my little biography, as uninteresting as it may be. My name’s Becky, but you can call me Awesome. Just kidding.

I’m a fourth year, majoring in Writing (Literature) with a minor in Music. After graduating I look forward to getting into a marketing, advertising, or PR field. Either that or I’ll go to grad school to continue my studies, I don’t exactly know what I’m going to do after graduation, wherever the wind takes me I suppose.

I’m biracial, my mom was born in Mexico and my dad is of English descent and grew up in the US. I speak Spanish, but admittedly, I don’t speak it very often. I am however developing my Spanglish quite nicely. I have one younger sister who is going to UCR for her first year now. I have an older half-sister who is expecting a new member to their family, and my nephew Tristan is way into Tech Decks and Pokémon. I also have an older half-brother who lives in Long Beach.

I grew up in Imperial, a cozy little city in the Imperial Valley two hours east of San Diego. It’s toasty desert place where everybody knows everybody’s business. Like Stars Hollow from “Gilmore Girls,” except it’s in the desert and has less trees.
