February 22 is Ash Wednesday and there will be an ecumenical service at noon on campus. There will also be a 6:00 pm service of the Word with distribution of ashes here at Good Samaritan with our Episcopal brothers and sisters, followed by a light supper.
Liturgy Committee
The Liturgy Committee assists the Director, Associate/s, and Director of Music in preparing for liturgical seasons, feasts and special events. We also assist in developing the liturgical ministries (Readers, Eucharistic Ministers, Greeters, Minister of Community, Hospitality, etc). The committee chairs are responsible for publicizing liturgical events and inviting people to participate in all aspects of worship. The events that we organize include:
