My life experiences happily include 45 years of marriage, 3 wonderful adult children, and 3 precious grandchildren, all growing too quickly. Early in our marriage, I made the comment that I did not want to live in the same house forever. George, my spouse, must have taken me quite seriously as we have lived in many, many places, mostly up and down the Pacific Coastline.
Since 1976, I have worked in 7 parishes and Catholic schools. Most of my service has been in catechetical and liturgical ministries. I love to learn and to teach. I have a great passion for the Christian Initiation process and other sacramental preparation. My formal education includes a BA in Economics and an MA in Theology.
I believe that our lives unfold in ways which allow us to continually grow in our love and service to one another as we strive to live out the Gospel values. I look forward to the upcoming year that holds so much promise as we complete our celebration of the Newman Center’s 50th year and begin a new year with many new faces and some familiar faces.
Mercy is the force that reawakens us to new life and instills in us the courage to look to the future with hope ~ Pope Francis
