Who Are We?

Christian Life Communities (CLCs) are small faith sharing groups that are based on three pillars: community, spirituality, and service.

Following the inspiration of St. Ignatius of Loyola, founder of the Society of Jesus (Jesuits), we are part of a worldwide body of small faith communities, present in almost 60 countries around the world.

Friends in the Lord

“Abide in me as I abide in you”- John 15:4

Fired by the Ignatian Vision, we imagine that a deep desire of God shapes and guides our becoming. At the heart of who we are, that passion fuels our yearning for a deep sense of self, connection, and mission. “Fullness of life” involves harnessing that fire.

CLC, as “a school of the heart”, helps to elicit, befriend, and focus this passion. This entails honest, heartfelt conversations with Jesus and with one another. This happens through prayer and dialogue that engages the world in its present circumstances to get the heart of the matter through transparency, vulnerability, and trust.

We in CLC are “friends in the Lord,” a community that helps one another discover and live out our personal vocations. Together, we seek holistic ways of living in relationship with God that integrate community, spirituality, and service.

We strive to build a community of friends in the Lord, find God in all things, and become a person with and for others.
